Guo owns helicopter, not luxury car

OFFICE of the Ombudsman is looking into possibility of suspending Mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac.
Guo denied owning luxury vehicle, McLaren 620R, that was put on car show contest in nearby town of Concepcion and won.
She merely borrowed McLaren from friend and made this entry for Bamban in car show.
Guo, however, admitted owning helicopter, she said she sold this year to British company.
She acquired helicopter in 2019 for business purposes. She planned to operate it as motor taxi, noting how lucrative business was at the time.
Guo was compelled to sell her helicopter as things did not turn out as she expected.
Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recommended putting Guo under preventive suspension for “serious illegal acts” involving Philippine offshore gaming operations.
DILG task force recommended Guo’s suspension to the Office of the Ombudsman.
