Finding probable cause in Juanito Remulla drug importation complaint

IT will be surprise once prosecutors found no probable cause in the drug case against Juanito Remulla lll, eldest son of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla. The Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office has ended preliminary investigation into drug importation complaint filed by the Bureau of Customs against young Remulla.
Remulla was arrested on October 11 for receiving package of high-grade marijuana worth P1.3 million in Las Piñas City.
The drug importation complaint was filed against him in Las Piñas, but was later referred to the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
He was also charged with drug possession before Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court.
Remulla did not file counter-affidavit over drug importation charge.
Remulla did not personally attend hearing on drug possession charge at the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 197.
