“There should be designated bus and jeepney stops for passengers as part of road safety… it’s about time to instill road discipline among all passenger vehicles,” Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) acting chairman Carlo Dimayuga III said during  meeting held with Quezon City local government unit (LGU), transport groups, and various jeepney operators MMDA is eyeing to create  designated stop for public utility vehicles (PUVs) along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Chairman Dimayuga for addressing  concern of jeepney operators…we consider it as  welcome development,” Martin said.
