Danao is back to Mindanao, 30 PNP officers reassigned

Former PNP Officer-in-Charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., is now back to Mindanao, he did not make it to the top after Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin was appointed PNP chief.
Danao was moved to APC in Mindanao. He relinquishes his post as deputy chief for operations and will be replaced by MGen. Benjamin Santos.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin conducted major reorganization in PNP, with at least 30 ranking officers getting their new assignments.
Lt. Gen. Chiquito Malayo is PNP’s second-highest official, as he is named the new deputy chief for administration. He replaced Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, who will now head the Area Police Command (APC) in the Visayas.
Meanwhile, MGen. Arthur Bisnar, chief of the Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), will replace Malayo, the chief of the directorial staff, the fourth top post.
MGen. Eliseo Cruz, the Chief of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) will head Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management (DIDM).
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Director (RD) MGen. Felipe Natividad is acting commander of the Area Police Command Northern Luzon.
Also affected in the reshuffle were provincial posts.
