“One of the best premieres ever in my life, which is at least in the top three and maybe the best, was in the Philippines…such wonderful experience,” With “Fast & Furious 9” premiering in Philippine theaters on Wednesday, Vin Diesel couldn’t help but remember amazing time he had in the country before pandemic.
The actor playing Dom Toretto expressed how much he missed movie premieres with Filipino fans.
Vin hoped it was possible to do it again. “I look forward to returning one day for a ‘Fast 10.’”
The ninth installment of the “Fast & Furious” movie franchise by Universal Pictures also stars John Cena (Jakob), Sung Kang (Han), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), and Tyrese Gibson (Roman), among other Hollywood stars.
Directed by Justin Lin, Fast & Furious 9 or “F9” follows Dom on his mission to stop a villainous plot led by Jakob, an assassin, a high-performance driver, and his brother.
It was previously reported that “Fast & Furious” franchise will end after the 11th film’s release.
Paul Walker might not have been there to walk his daughter down aisle for her wedding, but Vin Diesel was!
The “Fast & Furious” star was up for the job, as shown in the photo shared by Meadow Walker on Instagram.
“Ayooo,” she captioned the post, which showed her looking gorgeous in her bridal gown, arm in arm with her godfather Diesel, who wore crisp blue-gray suit.
The second photo in the post showed her with her new husband Louis Thornton-Allan.
Actress Jordana Brewster was present during the ceremony as well.
Meadow’s late father Paul starred alongside Diesel and Brewster in the hit film franchise “Fast & Furious.” The first film was released in 2001.
Paul died in a car crash in 2013, in the middle of the filming of “Furious 7.”
