Teaser for Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio’, unveiled

A new take on “Pinocchio” is coming!
Netflix just unveiled official teaser for Guillermo del Toro’s stop motion musical reimagining of the Disney classic.
It featured an introduction by Cricket, who is voiced by Ewan McGregor.
The musical will be set in 1930s Italy, del Toro previously revealed.
Based on an 1883 novel by Carlo Collodi, the story was animated by Disney in 1940.
The new film, directed by del Toro (“Crimson Peak,” “The Shape of Water”) and Mark Gustafson, features an all-star cast: Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto, Gregory Mann as Pinocchio, Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman with Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton.
It is set to premiere on Netflix on December.
